Goals

I plan to collect at least 100 coats, sweaters, and other clothing items to provide to the working homeless of Little Rock, AR. I plan to partner with the Clinton School of Public Service, Our House, INC., and the Public Speaker Series held at the Clinton School to collect and distribute all of the items to the working homeless in the area. The plan of action that I have developed will ask attendants of the Public Speaker Series to donate an item of clothing for this cause. I believe awareness of this issue will be raised and others will want to contribute to the work of Our House, INC. This commitment could help clothe over a 100 working homeless people here in Little Rock, AR by this Christmas.

Plan

I plan to meet my commitment goals by utilizing the Public Speaker Series held at the Clinton School of Public Service and asking for donations from the community, faculty, staff, and students. With everyone's participation I believe my goal of 100 clothing items will be reached by this Christmas. I will communicate our efforts by e-mail, flyers, and by word of mouth throughout the community and specifically at the Public Speakers Series. I will continually communicate and assess time lines and the delivery of donated clothing items with Our House, Inc. We will meet as needed to assess the time lines that we currently have, and to make certain that we are reaching our commitment goals.
