I know that sometimes you grant wishes so I would like to tell you about this deserving family. Nichole Beauchamp is a 28 year old single mom of Sterling, 7 & Keilen, 5. After years of abuse and finally almost killing her, Nichole was able to get away from her husband and start over. She moved back to Minnesota to be near her family, got a job & like so many others, got laid off, didn’t work long enough for unemployment and went on assistance. Then the kicker j came when she found a lump on Sterling’s neck and it turned out to be Hodgkin’s Lymphoma – Stage 4. He started Chemo and is doing as good as he can. Of course he is getting lots of stuffed toys and such but what mom needs now is help for her and the boys. They really wants to move to the cites so she doesn’t have to not only drive so far or be away from the youngest one all the time either. She qualifies for section 8 housing but she just needs help. Maybe a deposit, a u-haul and or someone to help her pack would be wonderful. She is a great mom and doing it all alone.
Another kicker here is that Nichole lost her first child when he was only 3 months old to a heart attack and her other son, Keilen up until about a year ago was in and out of the hospital with severe liver and growth issues. Both these boys are as sweet as can be and they just need a little help getting over this hump. They don’t need toys – not that they wouldn’t love a WII or Play station, but they need each other to be together and be there for Sterling right now. He has a long, long road ahead of him. If there is anyone out there that could help her – she could sure use it now! God never gives you more than you can handle but Nichole sure has had a plate in her short life to handle that is for sure. Thanks to you and all and if her wish isn’t granted, at least all the prayers for strength and healing would be most appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this wish.
