The Foundation for Post Conflict Development has already built 1 youth center and 1 maternity clinic in East Timor in partnership with the Monaco Red Cross, Monaco Government and the UN Staff 1% for Development Fund. These projects help fulfill the Millennium Development Goals in post conflict countries whereby poverty, infant and maternal mortality and health challenges are compounded due to the fragile nation building process. Increasing community based projects empowers local citizens, creating stronger communities and thus improving development of post conflict countries. The Foundation for Post Conflict Development's commitment is to double its results on the ground through global partnerships.
