We are committed to doing are part, recycling, educating,saving, composting,going green with our home,using public transportation, hosting a party with one hitch...when someone asks if they can bring something, we say yes..any non-perishable items that will go to a local food bank (why should we be the only ones to eat?) We also hold an open house every year, it also has a notation on the incitation to bring something to go to a food bank or homeless shelter. You would be AMAZED at the amount we have collected! I love it. Its a great feelling.
